249 Super Duty Piston III - Salvage your TOP M249 and avoid spending $400 for a
new upgrade gearbox! This is Q's latest design via CNC that utilizes Aircraft
Aluminum alloy for light weight and super strength. A must for a SAW gunner!
Version three boasts the same dimensions found in the Polycarbonate version yet
has a replaceable steel rack saving you time and money in the long run. Simple
to remove when it's time to tune-up your gearbox. Over 100K rounds using the
steel Guarder compatible gearset has been tested with wonderful results. This
piston is compatible for those upgrading their M249 minimi AEGs with the Guarder
gearset and cylinder upgrade. May be used with OEM gearset however due to nature
of cast aluminum stock gears, premature wear may occur on the OEMs.
Cost is $125 for a complete piston and rack. Replacement steel insert racks are
$20 each.
