Ultrazone is normally reserved only for laser tag. But thanks to the hard working volunteers at Airsoft Hawaii Ultrazone is now available for airsoft play. Ultrazone is in the Ilikai hotel at the edge of Waikiki. The CQB area is over 5000 square feet, air-conditioned, lit with black lights, and even has smoke effects. There's plenty of room to move and plenty of places to wait in ambush.

The velocity limit is 300 fps or lower with .20 gram 6mm bbs only and all players are required to use 134a gas (for gas guns) for safety reasons. What this means is that you don't need to spend a lot of money to buy a top of the line airsoft gun to keep up with the Jones! Any gas or spring powered airsoft pistol will get you in the game.

The required equipment is also minimal. In fact the only special safety gear you need is a paintball mask. You don't need an expensive set of camo, boots, or a tactical vest. Just a pair of pants with pockets to hold your spare mags, covered shoes, and a shirt or jacket.
