Operation Savage Luau 2 By Dave Dollarhide This year's trip to Hawaii turned out to be another great time of vacation paradise and airsoft gaming. We ventured all about the island and played both indoor and outdoor airsoft while we were there. We definitely enjoyed our stay! The island is beautiful and the people are most gracious. The beaches are spectacular. Everyone loved the warm weather and local food, too. We would have stayed longer if possible. The highlight of the event was the "Normandy" game at Savage Luau II. There were ninety-nine players and we took on defense of the hill with fifteen of us against everyone else! The game was ferocious and we were nervous at first. But, as the defenders held the hill we became more confident. By the end of the game, we held our ground even as the attackers seemed to penetrate our lines all around! It was complete madness and we loved it. Everyone had a blast and we plan to return again next year. There's nothing better than playing around in a tropical paradise -and airsoft, too. IPSC Style Shooting at Power Edge
Power Edge has just started a practical shooting course in their indoor arena. You get to pit you speed and accuracy against other participants. For the price of admission, you get to shoot through three courses. The main course will have the player moving through three rooms, engaging 4 targets in each room. But watch out for the “No Shoot” targets. Participants will be penalized by adding time to their scores if they hit a “No Shoot” target.

Tactical Force on Force Every Sunday at Power Edge will be a milsim style game at their ever popular indoor arena. “Tactical Force on Force” was created to meet the demand of players who wanted to play more realistic games. Players will only be allowed to use standard magazines in AEG’s, so no more Hi- cap mags. Also, pistol shooters can carry as many 10 round magazines they want. Hand guns will have a 375 FPS limit and AEG’s will have a 350 FPS limit. These restrictions will add the real world environment milsim enthusiast crave for.
